KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS– Joe’s faves:

  • Ctrl+c: copy
  • Ctrl+v: paste
  • Ctrl+a: select all
  • Ctrl+x: cut to clipboard
  • Windows Logo+d: desktop
  • Windows Logo+e: My Computer
  • F5: refresh screen
  • Alt+F4: close application
  • Alt+Tab: move from one open application to another (hold down Alt, press/release Tab)
  • Shift + Left/Right Arrow: select text/items

In Windows Explorer or similar file list:

  • Ctrl+left mouse button selects individual files
  • Shift+ left mouse button selects a range of files (click first/last files)
